On June 27, the Vilamoura tanker, part of Russia’s shadow fleet, exploded in the Mediterranean Sea, Ukraine’s military intelligence reports. The blast occurred in the engine room while the ship was sailing from Libya’s Az-Zuwaytina port. The tanker, flying the flag of the Marshall Islands, was carrying at least 1 million barrels of crude oil.
