There was a deleted scene that was meant to be shown towards the end of S1 showing HW caring for a sick/injured Finn, so im guessing they were planning on showing the audience that their relationship is still pretty solid since they still interact so intimately.
I hope she reveals that Finn moved in with her after Jake died and they are kind of unofficially married with each other
