You guys make it seem like something like that is so far fetched. When in reality, all it takes is for two hapas with the blonde gene to have a kid. Making another hapa with blonde hair. It's literally possible within 2 generations.
The reason you don't see it often, is for cultural reasons, not because it's some genetic outlier. It's just not common enough of a scenario in culture to witness such results. But I imagine it has to exist somewhere out there.
But also, I really hate it when people argue averages when discussing character design. Because don't you want your characters to be exceptional? Who wants Mundane Averageman to be a protagonist?
