Starfish is Peter Watts's masterpiece

Chronicles of Amber sucks dick and Zelazny wrote it cynically for money

Zelazny has some good stuff though like Lord of Light

Jack Vance and Poul Anderson are the best /sffg/ authors and don't get talked about enough

Perdido Street Station, The Scar, and Malazan are works of genius BUT Mieville and Erikson are turboshitlibs and the books do have retarded stuff in them

Jeff Vandermeer sucks; he is a turboshitlib like those guys but his books have no redeeming qualities
