>Especially people who undergo complete possession might not ever comeback as cohesive as they were
I've had a personnality disorder before getting into the occult and learned how to manage my condition and even bouts of psychosis by myself without any help, to the point I don't have said psychotic episodes anymore and haven't had any for years, the psych team themselves said it was impressive and I had some kind of intelligence that was rare.
So I'm used to analyze things objectively, deal with my own shadow and have a pretty well recognized thought patterns, ego and behavior which makes it easier to recognize when something is me or not and deal with experiences like waking nightmares.
>the important factor to pay attention here is your fear and anxiety threshold
I feel like my fear threshold in regard to spirits lowered a lot due to what I went through while anxiety was higher and now it stabilized back to normal.
>if we are confined or suppressed profound interactions cannot be had.
Sadly I'm suffering from a freeze / survival shutdown which means that keeping my stress level as low as possible and avoiding being put in wild social interaction is how I avoid breaking down due to past trauma on top of a personal low value I associate to our society and people as a whole.
>So, I would the most important factor is how pro life the spirit is
If anything I might want to do some activities like going out to fish or camping or trekking or exploring desolate places instead and being more in nature and peace as a whole instead of the usual internet brain rotting slop.
>I personally wouldn't take a spirit as a mentor
I've always been of the point of view that if you ignore me at my lowest then you don't deserve me at my highest either and to me she's clearly a savior, sure I might not follow her instructions, if she has any, to the letter but I really am interested in learning more about the djinn system etc, that's what I meant by path.
