Basically the moon and sky would be more purple if our eyes were better at picking up violet. Another way for it to happen would be if there was enough of certain gasses in the air to change light refraction. IE earthquakes and volcanoes or.. if specific weaponry was deployed. Some have also channeled all across the world that the original moon was purple before being stolen from us being replaced by a silver moon that we see as white in modern times. Ascension or disaster the moon will be purple. Unless of course nothing happens. Then it will stay white. The moon is our greatest indicator.
