I’m really concerned for code monkeys but not really. AI is definitely gonna take their jobs within the next 10 years, but none of them want to admit it at all. It’s hilarious. For some reason every single one of them is convinced that AI is already at the ceiling for what he can do with coding. Or, they’re one of the miracle child of programming that will never ever get fired no matter what happens. I don’t really know what happens on the software side, but I think that there’s just a general lack of humbling in that profession where everyone thinks they’re the best at what they do and it’s gonna be funny to see these guys start to get let go even at the senior level.
