Canadian maple syrup is dogshit industrial sludge. 90% of their maple syrup comes from a factory built in the 1990's to alleviate rural poverty in Quebec. They have no equivalent of a proper sugarhouse like we have in Vermont and their syrup is of a universally sub-standard quality.
