the sunglasses/hat combo with nothing behind them remind me of the invisible man, I don't think the concept of viscous trying to desperately fit in with the surface dwellers is inherently throwing out the aesthetic, it's just a rough blockout of the idea without textures
I hope they animate him obviously struggling to move around, just barely holding the goo body together, and not just like a regular humanoid character. even if he's done well the cosmetics will be fucking abhorrent but that's another story
