Back in the 80's when I was about 12-13, I got caught stealing fishing lures. I ended up being "arrested" and received community service. I had to spend two weekends picking up trash under the bridges where homeless people lived. Practically every day since then, I've made sure I pick up 2 pieces of litter out in the world.
