this is what an average zzz character will look like in 2026 and yes it's mostly a genshin impact drama i suppose but from what i've heard other games and forms of media suffered too and it's been going on for quite some time now which is extremely fucking pathetic and embarrassing like just fucking fire them and be done with this thing but once again i mostly have no idea what exactly happened and why this all started and what was said and who's now the biggest asshole and who became the most obnoxious social pariah overnight but apparently they've already fired all the biggest twitter crybabies like yesterday and a character with the most amount of lines in the whole game will get a recast which is pretty interesting and yes genshin's english voice acting was and probably still is NOTORIOUSLY bad and talentless, i've experienced that personality back in 2021 with the release of hu tao and the difference between english voice acting and japanese voice acting was fucking day and night and obviously not in the favour of the hair dyers and since then i've been exclusively playing with the japanese voiceover and i don't remember a single time when a japanese voice actor or an actress had a crashout on twitter biting the hand that feeds them and going all in on doing everything to lose the job that saved them from moaning in porn animations for a living, i heard that wuwa's english voice acting was also occupied by the same american accent loving clique of hacks that were acting out the same way and got punished and now the game has all sorts of accents and voice performances and other national colouring as opposed to all characters sounding like betsy from new york
