not to mention that when it was revealed it was pretty front and center about the old cast returning and even all the concept art was them, so of course people were gonna get their hopes up about arle and co. going back to their roots especially since the madou cast in the puyo games ever since 7 have done barely any more than just be there, even arle herself. i just want to have fun but i completely get why people were so turned off by it. who knows if this was all compile heart's idea or sega only allowed them to use characters they barely use plus carbuncle and suketoudara as big hitters.
