$20 tix and i got to see max scherzer pitch, what a legend that guy, that alone made it worth. decent game, classic ball and a solid rally in the 9th from the A's bringing it almost to an extra innings or walkoff situation. instead it ended on a full count swinging strike. i took like one photo at the game and just so happened to be the exact moment it got interesting, when kurtz hits a homer down 7-0 bottom of the 6th. not much at stake but it ended up pretty close considering these teams are at opposite ends of the standings. was rooting home team but not particularly thrilled with the situation with A's management, on the one hand it's a super comfy atmosphere for baseball there's not really a bad seat in the house, with the binoculars and portable AM radio for the play by play commentary it's super kino. they did charge 3 bucks to fill up my water bottle with ice (it was 100 F today) but 23 bucks to see majors at a local park, it is what it is.
