they gave up on frames clipping into themselves a decade ago and so did I, but I do try and use holster positions for melee that make sense to me or at least look cool and ALWAYS keep my primary invisible while holstered (secondaries look cool on the hips)
what really bothers me is that we don't have a supported action to manually holster all weapons so you're in an unarmed state with only access to quick melee, like when you lose all your weapons or the game sleeks out on going from zariman/sanctum into a mission (or like you used to be able to do on-demand but they kept patching out every method I had)
