“From the top…” You explain everything you can about Reapa, how she was “born” and how you encountered her, what you found out about her and… how Cocoa was thankfully understanding and quick to accept the kid as something the two of you will work on together. Also how she said she’d slap Towa, which your counterpart finds deeply amusing.
“Damn you picked well…” Future Peppa says proudly. “I… will be honest, if it were me, I might have had a bit harder a time accepting her as ‘my kid’ like that readily. Especially if it were me before I got started working for the Time Patrol. I’m… not exactly all that cut out for any kind of parenthood as I am now. I think that you though? You’re at least taking the right first steps. Don’t… don’t do what I did and think you can just handle everything on your own, run off and thinking you can shoulder the weight of the world on your shoulders. Do that, and I say you’ll make a great mom, Peppa.”
That… does feel pretty encouraging. You do have to note, though, “Reapa’s gonna insist on calling me ‘Papa’ just so you know.”
She elbows your arm gently. “You know what I mean.”
