That… actually almost gets her to stop struggling for a moment. Just a moment. But as you try to get the container with the stolen fruit away from her, her tail grabs onto yours and yanks hard while she bites you on the arm. “AGH! OW!”
That, and a quick Explosive Wave boosted by Wind Magic, is enough to force you off of her. She glares you down, her voice less playful as she tells you, “Nice try.” Ki blasts then start to rain down on the two of you, with you both dodging as best you can.
“Hi, sorry, but the two of you need to stay where you are!” Melanos yells, blasting out with one hand as he holds the other out, telekinetically stopping Glorio in his tracks. And as he pulls the demon man back, the tree starts to break apart under your feet. Damn it, you don’t have any more time for this!
“GLORIO, THE FRUIT! TOSS ME THE FRUIT!” you yell out. He hesitates, but given the other options he has, he relents quickly, flinging it as hard as he can. You help guide it toward you with telekinesis of your own, but as Melanos switches his target from Glorio to the fruit, Keli and Melee rush in.
With the devilish aura of her Makaio-ken around her, Keli brings her hands forward, yelling out, “TRI-BEAM! HAAAAAA!” and blasting Melanos before he can properly attempt to fight you over the fruit.
Melee meanwhile sends multiple rope darts down that block Reapa from trying to grab it herself, with the briefly girl forced back. “Peppa, whatever you’re gonna do, hurry!”
