Haven't had that problem lately, but I'm not asking controversial questions, either.
It goes without saying that if you ask a mainstream LLM about politics or history, the answer may not be well sourced.

What I find LLMs particularly useful for is answering complicated technical questions that would take several minutes of searching and reading otherwise.
For example, in picrel, I wanted to know if taking beet root with alcohol would lower my blood pressure to dangerous levels because of a movie I remembered from my childhood.
In the near future, most internet traffic will be LLM systems looking things up for people, and this will kill the ad revenue model and the internet itself.
