The word that Shigga uses to describe the looks in their faces is 困った. Which translates roughly to troubled/distressed. It seems to imply that she takes enjoyment in seeing them struggle (and she is usually the one putting them through those struggles).
It appears to me like a somewhat more malicious statement than just Shigga finding them a fun group to hang around with.
