I finished watching Sixteen a couple days ago, and goddamn - what an odyssey the creation of Twice was.

Shit was absolutely brutal, I feel sorry for the girls. I especially feel sorry for Chaeryeong, JYP did a big uno reverso troll at the end by picking Momo. She looked like she was confident she would be picked, but then he selected Momo even though that fag eliminated her earlier.

Watching it also feels like I'm literally seeing a different world. It was 2014, but I'm now realizing that 2014 was a completely different world from now. South Korea was still the cheap country that makes lots of cheap knockoffs of products, the splendour that Seoul has today isn't there. The Kpop world felt small compared to what it is now. They were performing in some extremely crowded and small underground stage at one point.

Jihyo is also a real Jesus Christ, she suffered so much in silence. I have mad respect for her and am glad she made it.
