I run Regions Unexplored with Biomes We've Gone, removing the badly overlapping biomes via config and using a resource pack to rename anything else. It's a nice combo, helps they've got a lot of the same team behind them.

BWG doesn't even have nether biomes. Gardens of the Dead fits with BWG's style pretty well though, if you want two extra biomes.
