The Food Network had already started sucking when she entered the picture.
And then when a certain 'Guy' with her very hairstyle showed up in his bowling shirt the final nail was in the coffin.
She was part of the whole push to reality programing and contest shit rather than straightforward cooking shows like Rosengarten and Alton Brown. I know they felt the need to chase profits and ratings at the expense of taste (especially in Rosengarten's case), but they had something really great there on basic cable for six or seven years.
I've really lost whatever passion I used to have for the whole culinary industry.
