This is already running into the exact same problems S2 had
>all the fish are fishtank fans so they all have too much in common
>all fishtank fans immediately become best pals so there's no conflict or awkward interactions
>all fish are completely aware of fishtank so you can't do "fishtank things" like using the sharks, goldstriker bits, re-use challenges
>production are in on the joke, the audience are in on the joke, and the fish are in on the joke so we're all just going through the motions
>the only thing you can "do" to the fish is outright torture them, so expect to see more icky pukers and frank hassle throwing ketchup at people to be the peak of this season
I keep thinking this season is about to get good and then it completely de-escalates, I'm blackpilled bros
That being said, the cast themselves are 100x better than the S2 cast, and honestly better than the S3 cast (besides burt and alex), but their dynamic doesn't function because they're all fans
Also Chris Lynch is unironically worse than Scott Sullivan in terms of anti-content, no idea why people like him
