Indians gain an instinct for breaking the rules because playing by the rules is a trap set by more powerful people who have no principles beyond gaining more power and wealth.

What you are experiencing is a first or early second generation immigrant headache. India coming online is a major headache and source of confusion and frustration. But things are being worked out.
