I wish this series had dropped Saito's retarded skirt chasing antics and all the cuckshit at some point. Like... Saito staying behind to hold off an army and die in a last stand so Louise could escape? Romantic as fuck. Saito returning as if resurrecting from the dead and IMMEDIATELY chasing other girls? Dogshit. There was so much potential for cute romantic stuff that got squandered because the author couldn't have either of the two grow a little from their experiences.
