The heavy use of weed and poppers is extremely common in most popular gay scenes. However dispite oftern being kept on the downlow hard drugs are a constant presence just below the surface and it does not take much to find yourself surrounded by methheads and other obvious tweakers.

Not uncommon, the most disturbing people you will ever meet. Not always obvious since most of them are smart enough to be somewhat sublte around strangers but there are usually signs. If you ever hear terms like "no limits", "bareback only" or meet a guy who talks about how hes always horny, is a satanist/"headonist"/pagan or something similar there's a 99% chance you need to get the fuck away

I never actually ran into one of these dudes but they're out there.
