Now i just noticed... Ooishi-san did survive chapter 3 @_@ even though MC wanted him dead... and his power never failed... there was a couple of survives from the village 2... It's not clear why it is not 100% working @_@ and why the guy that worked under Ooishi-san took the fall for his curse... this chapter really not trying to answer us at all and just adding more nothingburger questions @_@
