We're not competitive though. Yes, we rank somewhat high, but that's due to the contributions of a handful of members who go above and beyond on their own, plus just being level 8 with a (nearly) full list of consistent members. Our shared goal is not the rank, just to be active.
Obviously there are platoons more casual than ours, but likewise there are ones that are more competitive. It's not a binary distinction.
Also, just to be clear: If someone needs to go on a vacation or something that's okay as long as they notify me. What we're looking for is long-term stability.
For what it's worth, the reason we have a slot open is because a member is quitting the game entirely. He was happy with the platoon itself.
