All metrics point to a multipolar world. The US simply can't sustain its hegemonic overreach and if anything is accelerating its already breakneck decline. Even before it started torpedoing its own dollar reserve currency status, the burger economy was already almost entirely running on historical momentum, military industry and speculative asset bubbles while its people no longer have either the will or capacity for maintaining the global mechanisms needed to prop up geopolitical dominance. Consumer spending - literally the bedrock of the US economy - is on a downward trajectory the less people are able to afford and as wealth gets increasingly concentrated in fewer hands.

China manages its population via censorship, America does it through disinformation. Between the two, censorship is ultimately preferable because disinformation results in endless conflicting narratives to the point where no two members of the American public can even agree anymore on what's the truth on any given topic.
This inevitably leads to the breakdown of social cohesion and national unity.
