You have to look at it for what it actually does and what it is. It’s an RPG, but right out of the gate it cripples you by having a character with a set backstory. Very little room for character building or anything like that. Then you have the world itself, rather poorly made with many different issues that pop up throughout. Then there is the story itself, it also has issues, plot holes, poor writing choices, etc. Combat is solid and the weapons are fine. Art design is also well done as well as music and general ambiance. It’s a game with good ideas and concepts that was made by people that lacked the ability to capitalize on them for one reason or another. There is a large disconnect between various elements of the game. And at times it seems to make the player fill a role that they did not intend for their character to play or fill. I like it enough, it’s fine. I would recommend it to someone that doesn’t play RPGs as a beginner game to let them get to know it.
