This is pretty accurate. In general of his recent movies feel are very feminine while his early movies are masculine. Even when they were very “emotional” and “vulnerable” like Magnolia or PDL, they had distinct masculine energy. Now his movies feel apologetic and as you say, looking to please female and jewish sensibilities. There is something very weak and repulsive about his movies now.
