This is not new.
This is how the world always worked.
This is why the word LEGACY had so much impact in the past.
Because in the past we could see the endevours of long dead men finally come to fruition and, in that moment of final completion, feel the memory of that dead man stronger than ever before. Here he is, his design finished, his castle built, his church filled with worship; a hundred years after he died the capstone landed.
