He saved untold numbers of people with his act of heroism. The UK "justice system" would no doubt have released that insane psychopath within one month.

That's a psychopath. I know nobody who has ever drawn a blade to steal from people. I can't think of TWO people who would team up and do this.
This behavior, no matter the age, needs to stop. I pray good people in law enforcement begin pressuring the judges and prosecutors. Their conduct enables the death of many innocents.
All law abiding citizens have to resolve to be done dealing with the psychopaths the judges pile upon us.
Judges frankly, need to start going to prison. Perhaps then they will realize why we need to keep violent criminal psychopaths, such as this monster aged 15, off the street.
