I worked with a marine sgt that told me he once had two afghan army guys with him on some patrol or whatever, and they were smoking hash and giggling like high school stoners while they were taking cover from ak fire. he was one of apparently many, who concluded that their strife was their own doing. would you agree? also, had a good friend that bled out in kandahar early 2010, I can't imagine how his family took the hand back to the same taliban that killed him.
