Why do you think /pol/ put their support behind him right away? He was always known as a twitter troll and was pepe posting in 2015 and he shared a meme video with sound bites saying "oy vey" made by /pol/tards in the original /tg/ threads
There was also a time where he was suspected of posting here and was asked to put a specific word in his next tweet to prove it was him while maintaining plausible deniability. And I cant remember the word but it was some obscure word and he posted it in his very next tweet and /pol/ went nuts. Someone might still have the screenshots
