I still start to get up and walk away from the PC if I download something that's 20 meg or more, but these days it can finish before I've even had time to see the download bar start filling up.
Other day I went to update a steam game that was 20 gig, it had finished by the time I took a piss and make a cup of coffee.
I didn't realize it, but I kind of miss those small breaks. Like "ok, gotta get away from the computer for an hour or 2 I'll go for a walk", doesn't happen so much now.

Also, Youtube videos used to get to the point straight away because they had to, only so much bandwidth. These days it's the opposite, so many people pointlessly yakking on to pad out watch time.

Also, I played the shit out of CS like everybody else did but I almost always played with bots. I had heaps of skins for the guns, there was some website that had so many and it was pretty well made. My favorite skin was for the CT starting pistol that made it look like one of the handguns from a resident evil game. Had models for not just you holding it, but other players holding it and for when it was on the ground, which a lot of guns didn't bother doing.

PS: I miss C&C generals, fuck me did that game have soul or what.
