It's not even that he (she? they? who cares) has bad takes it's just that his style of media criticism of making incredibly long videos going through a movie or tv show a just dissecting EVERYTHING wrong with it and why it doesn't work in a super matter-of-factly way just always struck me as very pretentious. I guess this applies to MauLer too, who I know is a friend of his but who'se content i'm less familiar with
