Well I mean they could wait a year, not manage to fix a bunch of jank, giga timelock everything, and delete half or more of the main story quests.
And that's before the on and off retcons and sweeping some of the story that did happen under the rug.
Unlike Atlus, at least I feel like Hotta legit did not have the budget or time to do better, but still...
