Since I have been robbed of my ability to post this on /f/ I'll have to post it here:

As we're forced to close the book on /f/ I'd like to say a few parting things.
I would like to thank everyone who lent a hand behind the scenes, be it for tactics, music, half-time or anything, this has always been a small but dedicated team effort. A big thanks as well to /aesco/ for their help over the years in getting this team a much deserved coat of paint, your help has been invaluable in making /f/ the team look like /f/ the board and reflect the soul of the early days of 4chan that still lived there.
Smudgey and Sou, I'm sorry it had to end this way but thank you both for putting the bones of this team together so long ago, the music, players, and the entire attitude you guys approached this with was a perfect reflection of our home. I wandered into an /f/ roster thread about a decade ago and I've been addicted to this ever since, win or lose it's always been fun to watch and I hope I've kept that legacy up. I'm proud to have been able to carry on what you guys started, I only wish that the ride could've gone on forever.
To everyone from /f/, thank you all for everything you've given me over the years and thank you for showing up here and cheering game after game. It's been an honor to help represent a board that has meant more to me than I am able to put into words, you've been a guide to new things as well as an anchor to a past that's becoming burried and forgotten. I hope the show we've put on has been able to help numb a bit of the pain of having our home ripped away and that we've been able to bring back some memories of a better time. I will always treasure the time we had on /f/, there is no substitute for it and no other place on the internet can match what made it unique, no other board on this site still contains as much of what made the early days of 4chan special as /f/ did. I miss you /f/aggots every day.
