So according to your logic, Black Sabbath who released their first album in 1970 are metal, but actually the name of the genre was invented after they started playing, but actually the genre came to be in the early 80s when it separated from hard rock, despite Black Sabbath, an allegedly metal band, playing it for 10 years at that point, and actually it wasn't metal it was uhhhh rock with metal influences, despite them at the same time playing metal throughout the 70s and metal not existing before 1980?
