Nobody pays attention when they are playing games. I'm not even saying it's deep or you need to have a high IQ or really think about it to get it, but that's why it's so frustrating. It's a very simple, straightforward, non-convoluted story, but people check out two words into every cutscene, which is fine, but then they still throw a fit over the story that they didn't even pay attention to.
