The same devs did recently release Metroidvania with a X style dash, but its more of a Castlevania inspired game rather than a Mega Man one. Its their best attempt at this genre in my opinion, though I'd suggest waiting until the end of this month for the game's final update if you're planning to check it out, they had to rush it out initially due to budget constraints.
