I hate to be in this thread but if this guy >>40525705 is still around then I would like to respond by agreeing that the anima is a perfection of the female. I had a dream recently where I met my anima in the form of one of past love interests. What I recall the most about the dream was the ethereal sense of completeness without desire that felt like nothing I've known before and that's how I know it was the anima and not some lustful dream. I used to believe that everybody wants the same things from a partner (loyalty, kindness, etc) but now I am certain after reading your post. It's no surprise that everybody in a polygamous/unorthodox relationship is unhappy and it tracks with your theory of the anima.
"Sophia" is the anima perfected and therefore love perfected; unity so strong between two that they become a complete one. This is probably the same love Jesus has that unites him with his followers and unites him with his father.
