because wide hips, big butt, and big boos is analogous with big muscles in men. We're supposed to carry fat down there, men are supposed to be out there hunting. Its the same with pale skin. I know a lot of beautiful women with milky pale skin while it screams "basement dweller" when a guy is pale. Because evolutionary men were supposed to be outside hunting while women nested.
