Something I thought of was perhaps seeing her hanging out somewhere alone playing something on a handheld console and it piques his interest a little since him being the slacker he is he dabbles in some games (and also maybe isn’t familiar with some older handhelds like a psp). Also figure in that kinda setting she’d probably be harassing Hiruko all the time to hang out with her but she’d be in the student council or something and be busy most of the time so that would allow for some lonely times for Takumi to step in.
