Ahhh yeah, Nara seems cool as hell. I don’t want to go to Tokyo for more than a few days next time. Next time I’ll likely go alone to Japan because my gf has to pay nearly double just to get there. ;___; I’m visiting her this winter though!! Gf and I aren’t going to Japan together until I graduate from university in a few years as a graduation gift. That’s when we want to visit Hokkaido.

Locals are also nicer to you away from the tourist traps. Which I totally get because I’ve worked at tourist traps and I hate many tourists.
