I imagine it's some kind of corrective thing for knockbacks like Vayne or Poppy so that people don't go over the wall you're trying to knock them into and it bugs out for Qiyana, the only champ who sometimes wants to knock people away from walls.
Our champ is just too pretty and unique for riot games' chud dev team sadly
