In the 90s my dentist neighbor always gave out toothbrushes instead of candy. It was kinda jewish because they had his name on them and it was advertising, but he wasn't for a fact, and he probably knew kids already have established dentists and would throw the brushes out after halloween, so I have to wonder what was the point? And was he one of the good guys? A shifty dentist would be giving away Big Hunks and taffy and jawbreakers or really sugary candy like skittles, but he gave brushes.. doesn't add up..
