the articles really gloss over the fact (and subsequently pull the wool over a lot of peoples' eyes) that there are almost an equal amount of women who use websites like c.ai or character ai or spicychat or chai or whatever the hell to chat with AI boyfriends. go on any of those websites and you'll see literally thousands of thumbnails of the stereotypical japanese/korean man in an anime art style who has some absolutely abhorrent and raunchy shit as the description. here's a few i found in two seconds, and I've seen worse.
