Another thing, I live in a state with instant background checks for firearms purchases.
No waiting list, no 7 day cool-off.

Last time I bought a rifle the process took 2 days. FFL dealer told me something was going on with the check and he would call me when it was done.

Still got the rifle but it was weird as fuck, private sales only after that.
