So I know we're all genre savvy, jaded and cynical but did anyone really fall for the parade of shallow references? I can't help but feel like so much of the problem with the current generation is a complete unwillingness to move away from MY generation. I know recycling brand is already a huge part of that on its own but the show seemed to be in such a rush to get EVERYTHING from the old show into the new one as fast as possible it forgot that it took the old show like 10 years to do as much. This is always the problem with reboots.
